client:

Tumi

role:

Spatial design, storyboard, motion content, fabrication, and installation.

problem:

Create a reusable immersive room for multiple Asian tour locations.

result:

Modular projection room supporting repeated assembly and transportation.

skills:

Immersive projection, motion design, spatial planning, fabrication, and installation.

Context

Tumi launched its 19 Degree Asia tour in 2018. Working with a creative agency, we created an immersive room presenting the collection through projected animation and spatial storytelling. The installation travelled between different event locations.

Challenge

The room needed to deliver a consistent immersive experience across multiple venues. Its structure also had to support transportation, repeated assembly, precise screen alignment, and reliable projection within a compact footprint.

Approach

We developed the storyboard, composed the video content, and designed a three-sided projection room. The modular frame and screen panels were engineered for dismantling, transport, and reconstruction at different tour locations.

Impact

The installation transformed the product campaign into a walk-in brand experience. Visitors entered a projected environment inspired by the 19 Degree design language, while the reusable system supported the wider Asia tour efficiently.
