This outdoor projection mapping project was created for the Christmas Carnival at Hong Kong Golf & Tennis Club in Sai Kung. The concept followed a winter train journey, with Santa travelling across the building facade and climbing toward the chimney.
The main challenge was timing control. The projected animation and artificial snow needed to work together as one scene, so the snowfall appeared at the correct moments and supported the story instead of becoming a separate effect.
We developed the concept, storyboard, animation, projection content, and on-site hardware setup. The snowing machine was integrated into the show flow to extend the facade projection into the real event space.
The projection transformed the building into a Christmas storytelling surface. Combined with artificial snow, the experience created an immersive winter environment for visitors during the carnival.
