Context

HKT x CLP needed a compact exhibition display to explain Smart Charge and EV charging applications in Hong Kong. The installation placed a 1:18 car model inside a 3-side hologram kiosk, combining physical model presentation with animated visual content about residential and commercial charging scenarios.

Challenge

The key challenge was making the EV charging story clear within a small hologram display. Front and side visuals had to appear synchronized, align with the car model, remain legible through the glass, and communicate different charging scenarios without becoming too technical or visually crowded.

Approach

We developed the concept, storyboard, animation content, system design, hardware production, and on-site setup. The visual system used synchronized hologram playback to show the EV, charging flow, city context, and scenario-based messages around the physical car model.

Impact

The final installation turned an abstract EV charging concept into a compact, branded, and easy-to-read hologram experience. By combining a physical car model with synchronized animated content, the display helped visitors understand how Smart Charge could support different parking and charging scenarios across Hong Kong.
