Hongkong Land needed an immersive starting point for the showroom, created with an interior design firm. The space introduced visitors to Central’s waterfront history before they entered the main showroom experience.
The key challenge was synchronizing wall projection, lighting changes, and the motorized sampan boat into one seamless sequence. The space also required projection alignment across curved walls while maintaining a believable day-to-night atmosphere.
We developed the immersive area concept, storyboard, animation content, projection setup, on-site hardware installation, and show control system. The experience recreated Hongkong Land’s early Central waterfront environment through projected architecture, harbour scenes, lighting cues, and a powered sampan.
The final installation turned the showroom entrance into a narrative heritage environment. Visitors could experience the atmosphere of Central more than 100 years ago before moving into the main property presentation.
