skills:

Context

For the Chinese University of Hong Kong’s 60th anniversary banquet, we worked with Jaxon Event to create animated content for the live performance. The animation appeared across the main stage screens and foyer displays, supporting the event’s celebration of CUHK history and alumni memories.

Challenge

The animation needed to work as both visual storytelling and performance support. It had to align with dancers, stage timing, screen format, and banquet viewing distance while keeping the emotional tone clear and nostalgic.

Approach

We developed illustration, storyboard, and animated sequences around school life at CUHK. The content recalled campus memories, student experiences, performance moments, and personal milestones, then adapted the visuals for multi-screen presentation.

Impact

The animation became part of the live performance environment, connecting stage movement, visual storytelling, and alumni memory. It helped turn the banquet into a reflective and immersive anniversary experience.
