Hong Kong Pavilion joined the 2nd China International Import Expo in Shanghai. Working with Steve Leung Design, we translated its spatial concept into connected digital experiences across the exhibition.
Multiple technologies needed one consistent visual language. Projection surfaces, interaction methods, visitor distances, hardware placement, content formats, calibration, and system control required careful coordination.
We developed graphics, motion content, projection mapping, curved-wall visuals, hologram content, tangible interactions, and mobile components. Each experience supported different visitor behaviours while following the pavilion’s central theme.
The pavilion became a layered digital showcase of Hong Kong. Visitors explored the content through touch, physical objects, movement, projection, hologram, and personal mobile devices.
