Context

For the Samsung Galaxy S9 product launch, visitors created their own AR Emoji using a Galaxy mobile device. The experience connected personal mobile interaction with a physical hologram showcase, turning each visitor’s avatar into a live spatial display.

Challenge

The main challenge was real-time connection. The mobile device needed to send smooth, stable, lossless visual feedback to the hologram system with minimal delay, while keeping the visitor experience simple and immediate.

Approach

We developed the interactive flow, hologram display setup, content playback system, and mobile-to-display integration. The experience was tested for timing, visual clarity, playback stability, and real-time response before on-site setup.

Impact

The hologram transformed AR Emoji from a phone-based feature into a public product experience. Visitors could create, personalize, and immediately see their own avatar appear inside the hologram showcase.
