The Inter-departmental Counter Terrorism Unit (ICTU) launched the “Safety of Community” campaign to communicate anti-terrorism awareness through public engagement. Working with the creative agency, we developed a mobile interactive projection system supporting both floor and wall applications.
The system needed to translate serious safety information into short, accessible games for different age groups. It also had to detect multiple players accurately, operate in changing venues, and remain compact enough for transportation and rapid setup.
We developed a portable system combining an ultra-short-throw projector, fanless computer, LiDAR sensor, and custom software within a heavy-duty case. Different mini-games presented community safety messages through stepping, movement, and hand interaction.
The installation turned public education into an active group experience. Visitors learned safety concepts through physical play, while the mobile format allowed the campaign to travel between venues with minimal installation requirements.
