For Hong Kong Library Festival 2019, Hong Kong Central Library presented the Gulliver Immersive Storytelling Wall as a playful learning experience for young students. We worked with the event agency to build the curved-wall projection setup and interactive touch system.
The curved surface required accurate projection alignment and responsive touch detection. Multiple elementary students could interact with the wall at the same time, so the trigger zones had to remain stable, readable, and reliable during active group play.
We handled projection setup, multi-touch sensor installation, trigger-area calibration, and on-site testing. The system allowed students to touch different areas of the curved wall to activate animated story content, connecting physical play with projected narrative moments.
The installation turned Gulliver’s story into an active learning environment. Instead of watching a passive video, students explored the narrative through movement, touch, and group participation, making the library event more engaging and accessible for young visitors.
