Context

K11 Donut Playhouse required a connected digital system supporting registration, rewards, activity checkpoints, and interactive play. We developed several linked touchpoints, including a membership kiosk, vending machine, NFC scanning stations, and an interactive game displayed on a large LED wall.

Challenge

The different devices needed to operate as one continuous visitor journey. Membership records, NFC wristbands, reward functions, and game progress had to remain synchronized. Interfaces also needed to be simple for children and parents while supporting reliable operation within a busy public playground.

Approach

We designed the system architecture, UX/UI, and supporting hardware for each touchpoint. Visitors registered through the membership kiosk and received an NFC wristband. The wristband connected their profile with vending rewards, activity checkpoints, and the interactive game on the large LED wall.

Impact

The integrated system connected physical play with a personalized digital journey. Children could register, collect progress, access rewards, and activate experiences using one wristband. This created a more continuous playground experience while giving K11 a flexible platform for managing membership and visitor engagement.
